Volunteers Make A Difference
“Seeing the motorcycle riders set out together is always an incredible sight. The roar of the bikes moving in unison speaks to the power this group has to help babies,” said Fred Kohnke, CEO, Staffmark and Corporate Chairman for the March of Dimes Bikers for Babies event.
Fred’s unwavering support of the March of Dimes mission to save babies from birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality is evident through his continued commitment to be Corporate Chairman for the sixth consecutive year!
“Fred is passionate about helping babies and uses his time, talent and resources to exceed all financial goals set for the Cincinnati Bikers for Babies event,” said Kara Kasee, Senior Community Director for the March of Dimes.
Under his generous leadership, motorcycle enthusiast Kohnke has raised over $210,000 in corporate sponsorship from 2005-2010. But Fred hasn’t stopped there. He also engages his personal and individual contacts and has raised an additional $25,000 as a participating rider himself. The 2010 Bikers for Babies event scheduled for September 18, 2010 is on target to be another record-setting year.
Kohnke, who resides in Cincinnati with his wife Martha, is the proud father of three and grandfather to seven.
The March of Dimes salutes Fred Kohnke for his outstanding leadership and heartfelt dedication to help all babies be born healthy. Fred Kohnke is a volunteer making a difference in the local Cincinnati community!
